How have you been doing during this difficult time? Have you struggled with the lack of meaningful relationships during this time of lockdowns and social distancing? Has loneliness been a constant companion? There are many, just like you, that are trying to navigate this dangerous period and survive. Never has the battle for intimacy and relationship been as fierce as it has been in these days.

The enemy within

Uncompromising Faith - The Battle for Intimacy - War Memorial OttawaThis season of lockdowns and restrictions has been an all out assault by the enemy to destroy relationships. His goal is simple; divide and conquer. Satan knows that if he can isolate us, our ‘self’ nature will eventually destroy our relationship with God and others. When that happens we will be all alone; willing to accept his plan for us. This is the tactic he is using all across the globe with stunning success.

You are not exempt from this attack. We all have the ‘self’ nature. As long as we do not repent of it and turn to God, we are at risk from the enemy. Jesus, however, has a time-tested strategy to move us from the cold singleness of ‘self’ to the warmth of intimacy with our Creator. His path leads right through the wilderness where we leave ‘self’ in the dust for all of Him. This is the battle for intimacy.

Our family saw this firsthand. From our experiences we laid out this path in the 3 Stages of Spiritual Growth. With Scriptural backing we lay out exactly how we start as believers in Egypt, become disciples in the desert and finally reach the Promised Land where we become the Bride. These lessons are the basis for today’s podcast.

The Battle for Intimacy

As perennial survivors, we bring much needed wisdom from the vault of our own wilderness experience on this topic. Here we unveil the key strategy we need to counter this trend toward loneliness and isolation. With real-world examples, we describe our walk with God to help you understand what our battle for intimacy entails.

Remember that you are not alone. Jesus has His hands out waiting to embrace you with loving intimacy. Today you can engage in this battle for intimacy and fight back against the forces of evil that want to isolate and distance us. There is a path of victory just before you. Won’t you join us?

    I enjoyed Wanda’s voice ?

Beautiful explanation there about the Chrysalis. It reminded me of Isaiah 41:10.

“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.”
